Slowtype
Every typing game I know is about being fast. Words per minute, leaderboards, go. Speed is the whole point, which is a very poetic thing to care about when you think about it. I wanted to try the opposite.
Slowtype is a small game about waiting. A word appears and you type it one letter at a time, letting the ink dry between letters. Type too soon and the letter smudges. Wait too long and it over-dries. There’s no backspace, so one mistake ends the run.
It gets harder as you go. The words get longer and the ink takes longer to dry, and there’s no finish line. You keep going until you rush.
