Lock In City

Lock In City is a dormant Deco-futurist metropolis built around a focus-powered electrical grid. The city is underpowered: systems are dim, the skyline is fragmented, and the civic deck awaits restoration.

The City

Sustained focus produces Focalux—a measurable luminous energy the grid can collect and route through its intake towers, called Lockpoints. As output returns, the city’s lighting stabilizes, ornamental layers re-ignite, and lost records of the metropolis resurface as collectible postcards.

Each completed session earns Fux—the unit used to credit Focalux output—while charging your myCapacitor. When thresholds cross, recoveries queue. One record reveals per completion. The rest wait.

The Grid

The day follows your local time. The city follows your focus. Grid illumination overlays show restoration in real-time—Lockpoint glow, brass trims, signage intensity—all responding to sustained output.

The records are fragments: architecture, transit, civic notices, skyline angles. Each one a window into a city that once ran on attention, and will again.
