Void FM

Void FM is an ambient audio player that combines filtered silence with generative soundscapes.

The Concept

Most ambient apps are too busy. Void FM strips everything back—just you, your headphones, and carefully crafted absence. Each “station” is a different texture of quiet: rain on concrete, radio static, the hum of a datacenter at 3am.

The Stack

Built with the Web Audio API and vanilla JS. No frameworks, no dependencies. The UI is a single HTML file that weighs less than most images on the average website.

Status

Currently a proof-of-concept. Exploring whether people actually want intentional silence, or if they just think they do.
