Typeflow

Typeflow started as a weekend experiment. The idea: what if selecting fonts was as fast as typing?

The Problem

Font picker UIs are slow. They make you scroll, preview, close, reopen, compare. Typeflow cuts that loop—you type a letter, you see it in every font. The faster you type, the faster you find.

What It Does

• Live preview as you type
• Keyboard navigation between fonts
• CSS export with proper font-stack declarations
• Variable font axis controls for supported families

Why Archived

The browser font APIs are still too limited to make this genuinely useful. When Font Access API matures, this might be worth revisiting.

Until then, it remains a proof that good ideas sometimes arrive too early.
